BIO
Wessel is an established artist with a body of work spanning over 30 years. His early works were created out of the sheer joy of experimenting with shape, color and composition, and were often given away to people that loved them or donated to various charities.
In recent years he has been challenged by fellow artists to step out of his comfort-zone and stop being “selfish” with his art which caused him to adopt the motto, “Art that is locked away benefits no one.” In answer to this, Brian has been invited to show his works in several group exhibitions and has become a huge supporter of other artists, encouraging them with his new motto, “Paint until it’s cool”.
Frequently posting his works on social media and finding venues to display his art has attracted several private collectors to purchase his work. He does not paint for fortune or fame, but merely to express positivity in the art world and make his mark one person at a time.
-“My collectors have become my friends, and that is the true value of my art.”
-Brian Wessel
